# TriForce 2.85 Beta 1

Pre-release for real-world installation, upgrade and compatibility testing.

## Notable changes
- Google Gemini integration migrated to the supported `google-genai` SDK.
- Gemini and AI Studio credentials are handled separately.
- Gemini REST authentication uses `x-goog-api-key` instead of URL query secrets.
- MCP metadata reports TriForce 2.85 Beta 1 / protocol 2025-11-25.
- Canonical dotenv updates collapse duplicate active keys.
- Server setup profile binds explicitly to `0.0.0.0:9000`.
- `/var/tristar` package migration and canonical config persistence hardened.
- Windows client import/runtime blockers fixed; portable EXE and Setup are native Windows Actions builds.

## Validation
- TriForce source suite: 491/491 passed.
- Control Center smoke test passed.
- Debian payload import smoke passed with `google-genai 2.18.1`.
- Arch package built with `makepkg`, installed in `archlinux:latest`, and import-smoke tested.
- Windows portable EXE + Setup workflow succeeded twice on `windows-latest`.

This is a beta/pre-release. Back up production configuration before migrating an existing installation.
