Knox Country is gigantic and every single building can be broken into and explored, but nevertheless, Project Zomboid feels painfully, anxiously claustrophobic. The streets may be wide, but they’re packed with the undead. A house or a former school might have lots of rooms and supplies, but you can never see what’s behind the next closed door, what’s lurking around the corner. Co-created by a former Zomboid modder, upcoming survival game Dandelion Void takes the oppression of The Indie Stone’s opus and amplifies it dozens of times over. Combined with its truly disgusting plant-life monsters, this is definitely one to watch.
