Bill Gates-backed Airloom begins building its first power plant

Airloom takes that classic turbine concept and deconstructs it. To prove that it can generate as much power as conventional wind turbines, Airloom broke ground on its pilot site northwest of Laramie, Wyoming, on Wednesday.
