As follow-up to her critically heralded romantic drama Past Lives, writer/director Celine Song offers Materialists. The romantic comedy stars internet favorites Chris Evans, Dakota Johnson, and Pedro Pascal as three New Yorkers looking for love in a cynical world.

When she meets Harry (Pascal), a suave man in finance, she tells him he’s a „unicorn“ — the ideal that all of her female-seeking-male clients are dreaming of. So when he asks her out, what could possibly distract her from his attention? John (Chris Evans), her first love, who is passionate but poor, a struggling actor working as a cater waiter.
