It’s not Metal Gear Online, but it’s a lot like it.
Konami has confirmed its imminent Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake will indeed feature an online mode, but it’s not the return of Metal Gear Online many were thinking. Instead, the PS5 release will have an entirely new multiplayer mode called Fox Hunt.
Still very much an online multiplayer mode, Fox Hunt is designed around the camouflage feature of Snake Eater and how it fits into a game of hide and seek in the online space. It sounds like you’ll be sneaking around and attempting to silently take down other players.
