Serenity Forge’s Newest Game Looks Like „Doki Doki Literature Club Meets Silent Hill“

At the 2025 Summer Game Fest, Serenity Forge brought back the spirit of Doki Doki Literature Club in its upcoming psychological life sim, Fractured Blooms. Like the studio’s popular visual novel, it features cozy themes like home-building and cooking that could be straight out of Stardew Valley, but turns into something more sinister with contorted footage and lots of blood.

You play as Angie, a girl participating in what seems like an innocent home-renovation project. She’s actually stuck in a time loop with a dark end and forced to live through the same day over and over. In Fractured Blooms, you prioritize your most important tasks to make the most out of your loop while solving the mystery about your haunted home. That involves gardening, cooking, and other tasks that help fix up the house and take care of its inhabitants. Small differences appear in each cycle. You’ll start to remember details, but so will the cycle, apparently.

Right now, it’s unclear if the story takes a turn for the worse. We only have the trailer to go on, which showcases a road of reddening grass, plumes of miasma, and who knows what as the vibe goes from cozy to gory. Fractured Blooms also features a personal story behind the madness, but Serenity Forge has yet to reveal the details behind Angie’s life and friends.
