I’ve tested around 10 robot vacuums in my apartment so far this year, and I’ve been waiting for one specific model to go on sale for the first time. Naturally, it finally happened for Prime Day: Through July 13, you can save $320 (20%) and score the Roborock Saros 10R for $1,279.99. (That’s nearly $700 cheaper than the Roborock Saros Z70 with an arm, despite the fact that it’s also on sale for the first time this Prime Day.)

Though the Saros 10R’s actual discount percentage isn’t as steep as some of the other awesome Prime Day robot vacuum deals, the rarity of this deal is hard to argue with. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see this deal again until the next big Amazon sale in October.

There are a few reasons why, in my opinion, the Saros 10R is not only the best Roborock robot vacuum right now, but the best robot vacuum you can buy at all so far in 2025. Its corner mopping skills are the main reason I back it so hard. Instead of one big, flat mopping pad like the regular Saros 10 or older S8 MaxV Ultra have, the Saros 10R splits the job up with two spinning pads. One of the mopping pads sits on a hinge and can literally reach out past the vacuum’s circular edge to get into corners and wall edges. Most other robot mops wouldn’t be able to reach those areas, letting a droplet of spilled spaghetti sauce or rogue pinch of salt live there for months — but not on the Roborock Saros 10R’s watch.

I also appreciate how reliably self-sufficient the Saros 10R is. It gets to the right spot on the map, cleans well, then returns to the dock to deal with its own dust bin and wash its own mopping pads. These are hardly groundbreaking robot vacuum features nowadays, but they do play a role in the Saros 10R’s well-rounded package.

A feature you see less often? The livestream camera. If any pet parents are also shopping for a pet camera this Prime Day, just know that the Saros 10R can also show you what your pet is up to any time it’s out and about.
