War does change after all.
Sony is bringing Helldivers 2 to Xbox consoles roughly 18 months after its release, in a move that signals another unexpected strategy shift in an industry that never stands still.
It’s not the first PlayStation game to launch on Microsoft’s machines, as MLB The Show ripped that band aid off earlier in the generation. But as confirmed by ex-PS Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida in a recent interview, this move was enforced by the league and PlayStation doesn’t even publish the game on other platforms.
