Prime Day is nearly as good of a time to buy a robot vacuum on sale as Black Friday. It’s the first big sale event of the year for many 2025 robot vacuums that just came out in the spring after being announced at CES — most of them were far too fresh to go on sale for Amazon’s Big Spring Sale in March.
Case in point: All three of Roborock’s flagship Saros robot vacuums got their first-ever discount for Prime Day, and almost all of the new Roombas that just came out a few months ago have been on sale for a week. I guess Amazon and iRobot are still on good terms despite their acquisition falling through.

These deals aren’t guaranteed to last through the end of Prime Day on July 11, however, and it’s pretty unlikely that discounts on these major models will drop further into the sale. The wisest move would be to compare your top robot vacuum options quickly and make a move before the sale price disappears.

Why we like it
This budget Roborock model was also just released this year, but it’s been living in the shadow of the big bad Saros trio. Nevertheless, it deserves a spotlight for the value that it packs, especially now that it’s under $300 ahead of Prime Day. The most impressive feat of the Roborock Q7 M5+ is its 10,000 Pa of suction power — that’s far stronger than the norm for cheap robot vacuums. That matches the power of my favorite robot vacuum from 2024, the Roborock Qrevo Master, and is the baseline number I’d recommend for keeping up with substantial pet hair.
Note that the Q7 M5+ does mop and does self-empty, but doesn’t wash and dry its own mopping pad like the more premium Roborocks.

Why we like it
It happened. My favorite robot vacuum of 2025 so far went on sale for the first time, and it’s not some measly discount, either. Now less than $1,300, the Roborock Saros 10R is technically cheaper than the similar Saros 10 — though I still chose the 10R over 10 in my comparison because the 10R is a beast at corner mopping. With suction power reaching 20,000 Pa, the Saros 10R is also one of the most powerful robot vacuums on the market.
When a cleaning session is finished, the Saros 10R empties its own dust bin and washes its own mopping pads while charging on the dock. It’s well-rounded self-sufficiency that allows for true hands-off cleaning whenever a mess pops up. Pet parents will also appreciate the addition of the livestream pet camera, which gives a live view of whatever the vacuum sees as it cleans. The vacuum can even specifically search for the pet, giving you a heads-up about its current hangout spot in the app.
