Saudi Arabia and UAE get official launches.
Grand Theft Auto V is 12 years old and has sold more than 215 million copies, but as of today, it is officially a brand new release in two regions: Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The game was unable to receive an official, legal release in the two territories due to a ban on the depiction of drug use, violence, and sex. Fans got around this restriction by importing physical copies and buying it on a different region’s PS Store, but now an official release carrying a 21+ age rating is available.
