Yesterday during its big launch event Google unveiled the Pixel Watch 4 alongside the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
The watch is powered by Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset, and one of the perks of this chip is its support for Narrowband Non-Terrestrial Network, aka satellite connectivity.
So the Pixel Watch 4 should let you send and receive messages without a mobile carrier connection, provided you have some sort of plan that includes that.
