It’s officially been two years since Baldur’s Gate 3 launched and took the games industry by storm. On the RPG’s second anniversary, Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke has reminisced on the past couple of years and teased what’s next for the award-winning studio.
Responding to an X post celebrating the game, Vincke said, „Crazy to think it’s only been two years. It’s truly been life changing. Probably worth writing about one day. But I can spoil the biggest takeaway. BG3 was what allowed us to do our next crazy thing.“

The developer stopped short of discussing the studio’s next major game since the game is likely years away, but did promise that players will have „plenty of fun.“
