What I Built

TechPulse AI – An intelligent LinkedIn automation agent built with n8n and Bright Data that transforms how tech professionals stay current with industry news. This AI-powered agent solves the challenge of maintaining an active, valuable LinkedIn presence while staying informed about rapidly evolving technology trends.

The agent automatically:

  1. Discovers trending tech news from multiple RSS sources using Bright Data’s reliable web infrastructure
  2. Extracts full article content through Bright Data’s Web Unlocker for comprehensive analysis
  3. Analyzes content relevance and generates engaging summaries using AI
  4. Creates professional LinkedIn posts optimized for engagement
  5. Posts automatically at scheduled intervals, maintaining consistent presence

System Architecture: Built entirely within n8n’s visual workflow builder, this agent demonstrates the power of low-code automation combined with enterprise-grade data infrastructure.

Workflow Components:

  1. Schedule Trigger: Automated execution every 4 hours
  2. n8n Code Nodes: Custom JavaScript for data processing and content formatting
  3. Bright Data Integration: Dual-node setup for RSS feeds and content extraction
  4. Perplexity AI API: Intelligent content summarization and engagement optimization
  5. LinkedIn API: Automated professional posting

Model Choice: Perplexity’s Sonar model for real-time, factually accurate content generation that understands current tech trends.

Memory & State Management: Workflow maintains context through n8n’s built-in data passing, ensuring consistent content quality and preventing duplicate posts.

Bright Data Verified Node

Bright Data serves as the critical data backbone, powering two essential functions:

  1. RSS Feed Aggregation:
    Reliable Data Collection: Fetches TechCrunch RSS feeds with 99.9% uptime
    Real-time Updates: Ensures latest articles are captured immediately
    Bypass Rate Limits: Bright Data’s infrastructure handles website restrictions seamlessly

  2. Content Extraction:
    Web Unlocker Technology: Accesses full article content beyond RSS summaries
    Clean Data Delivery: Extracts structured content from complex web pages
    Global Infrastructure: Fast, reliable access regardless of geographic restrictions
    Anti-Detection: Ensures sustainable, long-term data collection without blocks
