Noctua Shows Off NT-CP1 Carbon Nanotube Thermal Pad Developed by Carbice, Prototype SFF AM5 Cooler

Noctua in its 2026 Computex booth showed off the NT-CP1, a carbon nanotube-based thermal pad invented and manufactured by Carbice, which the latter sells as the Carbice IP90 Nanopad. These thermal pads provide a superior alternative to thermal pastes, and offer practically infinite service life. Carbice and Noctua have formed a strategic partnership to bring vertically-aligned carbon nanotube thermal pads to the DIY PC market.
