Lego Party launches on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC later this year, bringing a blocky twist to the party board game formula pioneered by series like Mario Party and Dokapon. While the release date is not yet confirmed, you can preorder physical copies of Lego Party for $45 at Amazon. Grabbing an early copy will also get you a selection of exclusive playable characters as a bonus.
Lego Party Preorder Bonuses
If you preorder Lego Party, you’ll get five bonus Lego Minifigure characters to use in-game. So far, the preorder bonus characters have only been confirmed for the physical edition of the game. That said, considering digital preorders aren’t live yet, it’s likely to be included with digital preorders once they become available.
Lego Party Standard Edition
$45 | Release TBA
The Lego Party standard edition is the only version of the game announced so far. You can preorder physical PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch copies at Amazon. We expect to see it available at more retailers in the near future. Digital preorders are not yet available, but you can wishlist the game on the PSN, Xbox Store, Switch eShop, or Steam to receive a notification when it becomes available.
According to the official Lego Party website, the game will feature four „Challenge Zones,“ which are the Lego Party’s version of gameboards like you would find in Mario Party, as well as 60 minigames. Some of the games shown in the trailers so far include racing vehicles, painting, kicking a soccer ball, and vying for control of a platform. The game will feature up to four players competing to earn the most Golden Bricks in local or online multiplayer, with support for cross-play so you can play with all your friends regardless of which console they use. Each player will get to customize their in-game Minifigure character with unique costumes.
