NXP FRDM-IMXRT1186 development board features i.MX RT1186 crossover MCU, four Ethernet ports


NXP has just launched the FRDM-IMXRT1186, a development board based on the i.MX RT1186 crossover MCU for industrial automation, robotics, PLCs, and edge computing applications. The MCU uses a heterogeneous architecture with an 800 MHz Arm Cortex-M7 core for application processing and a 300 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 core for real-time control and communications.
