If you haven’t yet gotten a Nintendo Switch 2, you’re about to have a chance to bring your FOMO phase to a swift end, because Best Buy and Amazon are about to unleash a restock just in time for the release of Donkey Kong Bananza. That’s right, there’s about to be more to play than just Mario Kart World. Be aware, though, there’s a catch for buying the console at either retailer.
If you want to get your hands on one of the coveted handheld gaming consoles, listen up. On July 17 — the same day as Donkey Kong Bananza’s release — Best Buy will restock Nintendo Switch 2 consoles for in-store purchases only in limited quantities. Every single Best Buy store will have stock, according to the retailer’s website, so find your nearest store and get ready to head over.
Amazon is handling its restock a little bit differently. As of right now, Nintendo Switch 2 consoles can be purchased via invite only, and apparently those invites are starting to be sent out. You can still request an invite at Amazon for the regular Switch 2 and the Mario Kart World bundle version, but there’s no guarantee you’ll get an invite anytime soon. Still, it’s worth a try.
Keep an eye on our Nintendo Switch 2 coverage to be updated about future restocks.
