Techland wants time for more polish.
Techland has today confirmed a one-month delay for Dying Light: The Beast, which pushes the game out of late August and into September, where it’ll face more competition from other new releases.
The PS5 game will now release on 19th September 2025, as the developer states it needs a little bit more time to polish the experience and create „the best Dying Light game we’ve ever released“. Those extra four weeks of work will focus on „finetuning the balance of gameplay elements, looking into clarity of UI, increasing the quality of physics, as well as tweaking cutscenes and player animations further“.
