Earlier this month it was reported the Federal Trade Commission was still fighting Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard buyout and it wasn’t going so well. Now, in perhaps the last significant development, the FTC has officially dropped its case against the tech giant.
“The Commission has determined that the public interest is best served by dismissing the administrative litigation in this case. It is hereby ordered that the complaint in this matter be, and it hereby is, dismissed.“
