Helldivers 2 going to Xbox is a desperately needed win

The walls are crumbling, and everyone wins. Arrowhead have announced that Helldivers 2 is going to fight for a different shade of democracy as an Xbox port is imminent. This is a victory for bug squashers in camp green as full crossplay is confirmed and jolliness with your squad is all but assured. It didn’t seem like this day would ever come, but given the all too coincidental shared launch date with a certain Gears of War Reloaded, there’s every likelihood this was a tit for tat deal that gave Sony the chance to test the waters as a third party publisher.
