Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann has today revealed he is stepping away from production of The Last of Us TV series on HBO so he can put his „complete focus“ on game development.
With the production of season two complete and no „meaningful work“ done on the third season yet, Druckmann views this as the „right time for me to transition my complete focus to Naughty Dog and its future projects“. This will include writing and directing upcoming PS5 title Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and he’s also serving in a „producer role“ on a second project that’s currently unannounced.
