Hollow Knight: Silksong isn’t even out yet and its developers, who have been reluctant to speak about the game over the last six years, are already talking about expansions to the heavily anticipated game.
In a Bloomberg interview about Silksong’s lengthy development cycle, Team Cherry’s founding duo–co-directors Ari Gibson and William Pellen–admitted that while the game’s imminent launch on September 4 „is obviously exciting,“ they are just as excited for what it is set to come to come to the game afterwards.
Gibson added, „The most interesting thing now is that we can add to it next. We’ve got a plan. Admittedly, some of the plans for that stuff are kind of ambitious as well, but hopefully we can achieve some of it.“
