Following its release on PC on Steam Early Access in 2024, Ubisoft’s The Rogue Prince of Persia is releasing today on console, including through Xbox Game Pass. It’s also available through PlayStation Plus Extra.
Ubisoft announced this during the Xbox Gamescom livestream today. The game is launching for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, and PS5. It’s coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 later this year.
The debut of The Rogue Prince of Persia on console coincides with the game’s 1.0 release, which also lands today, August 20. „After more than a year of early access, over 15 major updates integrating community feedback, an entirely reworked art direction and changed color palette, a variety of new biomes, weapons and trinkets as well as an enriched metaprogression, the game has reached its final form for all players to enjoy,“ Ubisoft said.
